Winterscape, and Valis and the Ogres Illustration

Winterscape
Valis and the Ogres
Here are two of my latest Illustrations, I havent had a lot of time to do artwork and post it everywhere lately as my new job at a Cinema, and learning to drive has been taking up much of my time.

The first Illustration is a Winterscape scene which I did for practice, it started as a warm up, but I decided to use it as a way of getting back into using photos and textures in my work.

The second is a an Illustration based off of a short story that I started writing during my MA set in my Amvanei IP, perhaps at some point Ill get around to finishing it lol The scene is about the protagonist Eoghan Valis, who is  tasked with transporting the portal key, 'The Ankh of Neroset' to the harbour town of Coda, whilst he is being pursued by the Mehrudin Ogres allies of the main 'villain' High Priest Valerius of the Ladanian Empire, whom are led by the Ogre Raw'ka. At this point they have caught up with Valis a few miles from Coda, with his only choice to fight  them off until help arrives.

I tend to update my Artstation page first these days, as I like the way the site is laid out, so it might be worth following me on there https://www.artstation.com/artist/Scriar

Tropical Cityscape portfolio illustration, and available for work.

Tropical Cityscape, portfolio illustration
Here is a new illustration for my portfolio. I have not been 'finishing' much work lately, as the last couple of months I have been focusing on learning character design, improving my anatomy, and generally trying to focus on my sense of design. Originally this illustration was just a warm up sketch that I was doing, but I liked the direction it was going so I decided to take it to a finish.

In other news I am currently looking for work, both full time and freelance. My contact details, are available on my portfolio which can be seen here: http://scriar.artstation.com/
